The market continues to grow with rising global temperatures, the integration of AC in new buildings,  and the electrification of energy for HVAC applications, which are expected to push up demand further in the future. Growing concerns over (climate change) the carbon impact of products and refrigerants and tightening energy efficiency legislation some of the challenges that market is facing. The competitive landscape pushing market players to seek most unusual joint venture partnerships in the market.  BSRIA will share its key findings from their Global HVAC-R studies.

 

About the speaker

 

Saziye Dickson is the Global Research Manager of Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration studies at BSRIA (Building Services Research & Information Association) based in the UK. She overseas BSRIA regular studies covering 30 biggest markets globally, with recent special reports on Africa and the latest one on Latin America. Saziye also works with international HVAC & R companies to design and run more customised studies for their needs and has worked with names such as JCI, LG, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Midea and Embraco. She has an extensive knowledge with over 13 years of market research & consultancy experience in the HVAC &R industry and regularly contributes to International press articles and webinars, and presents at industry events. She was a guest speaker at BIG 5 – HVAC-R Pioneers’ Summit in November and she will be also presenting AHR Expo 2020 to share key trends in Americas. Saziye is also the current chair for the CTTC (Chapter Technology Transfer Committee) for the ASHRAE Midlands Chapter in the UK. Previously she has worked as a commercial manager for Environmental Consultancy focusing on energy management in public buildings.
